LPC and LMFT Supervision Services

Rachel Saenger, LPC-S, LMFT-S is a Board-Approved Supervisor with the Texas LPC and LMFT Boards.  As a supervisor she offers a safe, supportive environment for Associates to learn, grow, and become more confident in their work. Her goals as a supervisor are to facilitate her Associates' discovery of their "true self" as a therapist, and to help them become more integrated and confident in their counselor identities and counseling approaches.

Rachel draws on over 17 years of clinical experience in the Austin area working with individuals of all ages, as well as groups, families and couples to assist her associates in deciding which approach/path to take with clients, and working with an associate's theoretical approach. She works together with her associates to develop treatment plans for clients with short-term and long-term goals, and track progress and outcomes. She has a passion for sharing, teaching and supporting other professionals in training.

Supervision includes staying up-to-date on changes to Board rules and developing individualized learning outcomes to focus on clinical growth. Rachel uses a variety of different modalities as a therapist, including: relational-cultural, ACT, Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness/MBSR, Family Systems and Gottman/PACT with couples.

Georgetown Counseling and Wellness offers supervision services for LPC and LMFT Associates working toward full licensure.
